The Liebherr Monolith EWT 9275 is a built-in wine cabinet designed to store up to 100 Bordeaux bottles (0.75 l) in optimal conditions. With three temperature zones and a range from +5°C to +20°C, it supports varied wine collections. Features such as InfinityLight LED lighting, InfinitySwipe electronic control and FreshAir activated charcoal filtration help protect and present wines within a tall, integrated 61.0 cm wide cabinet.
The appliance is designed for flush installation in units with a depth of 635 mm using stainless steel or customer-specific panels. For inset installation, the height is 2029 mm and width 603 mm; for overlay installation the height is 2032 mm and width 610 mm (plus overlap of the panel on top and both sides). The minimum panel thickness is 16 mm and the maximum 30 mm, with a maximum panel weight of 24 kg.
Installations behind the appliance are not possible. The unit depth for overlay door panel installation is 635 mm; for inset installation it is 635 mm plus the thickness of the custom panel.
Ventilation is provided entirely via the plinth panel. The door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor and the grill in the plinth panel must not be obstructed. Adjustable feet are fully retracted for the minimum height; the appliance height is raised by turning the feet from the front until it contacts the anti-tipping device. To achieve a minimal plinth panel height of 102 mm, the feet must be raised by 6 to 8 mm, and can be raised by up to 19 mm for higher plinth panels.
Liebherr stainless steel plinth panels, 102 mm high, are available as optional accessories in 61.0 cm width for this model.
To prevent collisions with adjoining walls or kitchen elements, a minimum spacing of 76 mm must be included for a door opening limited to 90°. The door opening angle is 115° ex works and can be limited to 90° using the supplied door opening limiter inserted into the hinge. Minimum gaps of 3 mm are required between panels.
Monolith appliances can be installed individually, side-by-side in a fitted unit, or side-by-side in separate units. If the distance between integrated units is less than 102 mm, a Side-by-Side set with sidewall heater, brackets, screws and decorative trim is required. For door openings to the centre with a 90° limiter, a dividing wall of at least 154 mm is necessary to prevent handle collisions.
The floor must be level and capable of bearing the weight of the appliance plus approximately 218 kg to 544 kg of food, depending on model capacity. Recess dimensions must be measured correctly and the power socket must be in the correct, easily accessible position. The top and carcass walls should line up flush with the appliance at a depth of at least 102 mm from the outside edge and be at least 16 mm thick.
Because the recess is partially visible when the door is open, matching interior surfaces and designed carcass finishes are recommended. The appliance depth of 610 mm allows installation in standard European 610 mm units or deeper 635 mm cut-outs.
High-quality wooden shelves sit on smooth-running telescopic rails with self-closing mechanism and soft closing damping (SoftTelescopic). Additional wooden bars allow adaptation of the interior to various bottle sizes, so that different wine and champagne bottles can be accommodated efficiently. The InfinityBoard pull-out shelf provides a surface on which bottles can be temporarily placed during sorting, adding or serving.
Integrated InfinityLight LED side wall lighting provides an even interior glow with a soft brightening effect when the doors are opened. The lighting can be fine-tuned and emits less heat than traditional lighting. A FreshAir activated charcoal filter in each wine safe cleans incoming air and filters unpleasant odours to protect stored wines.
InfinityProtection uses two temperature sensors in each wine safe to detect strong temperature fluctuations. If a critical change is registered, an immediate notification is triggered so that wines are protected from becoming too warm or too cold. SoftSystem technology ensures particularly gentle door closing to avoid vibrations.
The appliance must be operated using alternating current at the permitted voltage and frequency for the relevant country. Power sockets must be earthed, electrically protected, not located behind the appliance and easily accessible. A separate circuit is recommended. The appliance must not be connected via extension cables, multi-sockets or inverters.
The climate class SN-ST allows operation between 10°C and 38°C ambient temperature. The appliance should not be operated outside this range. Refrigerant circuits have been checked for tightness and safety regulations are met.
To prevent tipping, the anti-tipping device at the base of the appliance must be secured to the floor or wall. Monolith appliances are supplied with decorative trim to cover the gap between the appliance and fitted unit side walls.
The cabinet can accommodate up to 100 Bordeaux bottles of 0.75 l within a total volume of 320 litres (volume indicated to the nearest integer in accordance with Regulation EU 2019/2016).
The EWT 9275 provides a temperature range from +5°C to +20°C and has three separate temperature zones, which can be controlled via the InfinitySwipe touch & swipe display.
