Installation, Operation and Safety Information

Installation and recess requirements

Floor must support appliance plus approx. 218 kg to 544 kg of food, depending on model.
Floor should be level; appliance must be levelled so ventilation openings remain clear.
Recess dimensions must be correctly measured and power socket positioned correctly and easily accessible.
Appliance depth is 610 mm; suitable for standard 610 mm or deeper 635 mm cut-outs.
Designed for flush installation with 635 mm unit depth and stainless steel or customer-specific panels.
Recess top and carcass walls should line up flush with the appliance at a depth of at least 102 mm from the outside edge, with material thickness at least 16 mm.
Inside of recess should match unit surface at top and sides with minimum visible depth of 76 mm when door is opened.
Maximum permitted door panel weight for this model is 40 kg; maximum panel thickness 30 mm.
Installations behind the appliance are not possible.
Appliance should stand for one hour at installation location before switching on so coolant fluids distribute evenly.

Door panels, plinth and spacing

Door panel options include inset and overlay installation; panel overlap and spacing must be observed.
Door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor; the plinth panel grille must not be obstructed.
Spacers supplied with the appliance must be fitted to separate warm outgoing air from incoming fresh air.
Minimum permitted gap between panels is 3 mm.
To prevent collisions with adjoining elements, include minimum spacing of 76 mm for a 90° door opening.
A 90° door opening limiter (included) can be inserted into the hinge; factory door opening angle is 115°.
For Side-by-Side units with separate carcasses, a dividing wall of at least 16 mm is required; 102 mm or 154 mm spacing may be needed to prevent handle collisions, depending on door opening configuration.

Ventilation requirements

The appliance is ventilated entirely via the plinth panel. Effective ventilation is essential for correct operation, so the plinth grille must remain clear. Stainless steel plinth panels of 102 mm height are available in various widths and are assembled using an adhesive joint pre-assembled on the appliance.

InfinitySpring water dispenser and water connection

Must be connected to a water supply with pressure between 2.8 and 6.2 bar.
Only the supply hose delivered with the appliance may be used for feeding water.
A shut-off valve must be installed between hose line and mains water supply; it must not be installed behind the appliance.
Connection to the water supply must be carried out by a trained and licensed plumber.
Water quality must comply with local drinking water regulations.
For high water hardness, a water softener is recommended; a filter must be used if solids such as sand are present.
The appliance includes a water filter located in the front section of the appliance base; it must be replaced regularly and InfinitySwipe will issue a reminder alarm.
All repairs and work on InfinitySpring must only be undertaken by customer service employees or other trained individuals.

Electrical safety

Appliance must only be operated using alternating current.
Permitted voltage and frequency according to appliance design for the relevant country must be adhered to.
Power sockets must be earthed, electrically protected and not located behind the appliance; they must be easily accessible.
A separate circuit is recommended to prevent food spoilage caused by failures from other appliances.
Do not connect the appliance to unearthed sockets; risk of fatal electric shock.
Do not use extension cables, multi-sockets or inverters; risk of overheating, fire and damage to control electronics.

Ambient temperature and usage

Intended for refrigerating, freezing and storing food and for making ice (if equipped).

Secure mounting and anti-tipping device

To prevent tipping after installation, the anti-tipping device positioned at the base of the appliance must be secured to the floor or wall. The appliance is raised using adjustable feet from the front until it contacts the anti-tipping device. To achieve the minimal plinth panel height of 102 mm, the adjustable feet must be raised by 6 to 8 mm; they can be raised by up to 19 mm for higher plinth panels.
