Installation, Usage & Safety Details

Installation space and recess requirements

The floor must be capable of bearing the weight of the appliance plus approximately 218 kg to 544 kg of food, depending on model net capacity.
The floor should be level; the appliance must be supported or levelled at floor level so that ventilation openings are clear.
Recess dimensions must be correctly measured and the power socket positioned correctly and easily accessible (not behind the appliance).
Recess top and carcass walls should line up flush with the appliance at a depth of at least 102 mm from the outside edge, with material thickness of at least 16 mm.
Because the unit recess is partially visible when the door is opened, the inside should match the unit surface and have a minimum depth of 76 mm.
Monolith appliances are designed for flush installation in units with 635 mm depth using stainless steel or customer‑specific panels.
The depth of Monolith appliances is 610 mm, suitable for standard European 610 mm units and deeper 635 mm cut‑outs.

Side‑by‑Side installation options

Monolith appliances can be installed individually, Side‑by‑Side in a single fitted unit, or Side‑by‑Side in separate units.

The Side‑by‑Side set includes a sidewall heater to prevent condensation, metal brackets, screws and decorative trim to cover the gap (approx. 6–8 mm).

Electrical safety
