The Liebherr ERBdi 9671 and ERBdi 9670 are built-in refrigerators designed for flush integration in kitchen units with a depth of 635 mm. Offering a total volume of 335 litres, including spacious BioFresh compartments, they combine InfinitySwipe electronic controls, InfinityLight interior lighting and an automatic SuperCool function. With low noise output and automatic defrosting, they are suited to households looking for quiet, efficient refrigeration with flexible storage and high-quality installation options.
The floor in the installation area must be level, even and made of a hard, rigid material. It must be capable of bearing the weight of the appliance plus approximately 218 kg to 544 kg of food, depending on model. The floor in the installation area must be at the same height as the rest of the room so that ventilation openings remain clear.
Recess dimensions for this model are 213.4 cm (H) × 61 cm (W) × 63.5 cm (D). The top and carcass walls must line up flush with the appliance at a depth of at least 102 mm from the outside edge and be at least 16 mm thick. Because parts of the recess are visible when the door is opened, matching internal finishes are recommended, with a minimum visible depth of 76 mm.
Monolith appliances are designed for flush installation in units with a depth of 635 mm using stainless steel or customer-specific panels. The appliance depth of 610 mm allows installation in standard 610 mm units or deeper 635 mm cut-outs.
For inset installation, door panel dimensions are H = 2029 mm and W = 603 mm. For overlay installation, dimensions are H = 2032 mm (plus overlap at top) and W = 610 mm (plus overlap on both sides). Panel thickness must be between 16 mm and 25 mm, with a maximum panel weight of 30 kg. When using fronts thinner than 16 mm, shorter screws than those supplied must be used. Installations behind the appliance are not possible.
Monolith appliances are ventilated entirely via the plinth panel. Door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor, and the grill in the plinth panel must not be obstructed. Liebherr offers an optional stainless steel plinth panel 102 mm high in widths matching individual models and Side-by-Side combinations from 45.7 cm to 182.8 cm. The plinth panel is assembled using a pre-assembled adhesive joint, and its position depth can be varied.
Monolith appliances can be installed individually or Side-by-Side. They may be installed as stand-alone units or in fitted units. When installed Side-by-Side with a spacing of less than 102 mm between appliances, a separate Side-by-Side set is required. If installed Side-by-Side in separate units and the dividing wall is less than 102 mm thick, a Side-by-Side set is also required.
To prevent doors and handles from colliding with adjacent walls or kitchen elements, a minimum spacing of 76 mm must be allowed for a door opening limited to 90°. For back-to-back door positioning with opening towards each other, a minimum spacing of 154 mm is required. When combining three units, different options using one or two Side-by-Side sets and carcass sides of at least 16 mm are possible, but some configurations may lead to door collisions.
Wall spacers/air separators supplied with Monolith appliances must be fitted to the appliance and door to separate warm outgoing air from incoming fresh air. The door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor, and ventilation grills must remain unobstructed to ensure proper cooling performance.
The appliance must only be operated using alternating current at the permitted voltage and frequency for the relevant country. Power sockets must be earthed, electrically protected and easily accessible, and must not be located behind the appliance. Use of extension cables, multi-sockets or inverters is not permitted due to risks of overheating, fire and imperfect voltage supply. A separate circuit is recommended to prevent food spoilage due to failures caused by other appliances.
The appliance must not be connected to unearthed power sockets. Failure to observe this can result in severe injuries or death. All repairs must comply with applicable safety regulations, and refrigerant circuits are checked for tightness.
The appliance is intended for refrigerating, freezing and storing food and for making ice if equipped accordingly. With climate class SN-T, it is designed for ambient temperatures from 10 °C to 43 °C. Operation outside these temperature ranges is not permitted, as it may compromise cooling performance.
Some Monolith appliances are fitted with an InfinitySpring integrated water dispenser or IceMaker and must be connected to a water supply with pressure between 2.8 and 6.2 bar. Only the supply hose delivered with the appliance may be used. A shut-off valve must be installed between the hose and mains water supply and must not be located behind the appliance. Connection to the water supply must be carried out by a trained and licensed plumber, and water quality must comply with local drinking water regulations.
For high water hardness, a water softener is recommended. A filter must be used if solids such as sand are present. All devices and systems used to supply water must meet applicable regional provisions. Appliances with InfinitySpring or IceMaker include a water filter located in the front section of the appliance base; this must be replaced regularly, and an InfinitySwipe alarm indicates when replacement is due. Repairs and work on InfinitySpring or IceMaker must only be undertaken by customer service or other trained individuals.
To prevent the appliance from tipping after installation, the anti-tipping device at the base must be secured to the floor or wall. The adjustable feet are fully retracted at the minimum height; the appliance height is raised by turning the feet from the front so that the appliance contacts the anti-tipping device. To achieve the minimal plinth panel height of 102 mm, the feet must be raised by 6–8 mm. For higher plinth panels, the feet can be raised by a maximum of 19 mm.
Before switching on, the appliance should stand for one hour in the installation location so fluids in the coolant and lubrication system can distribute evenly. When transporting the packaged appliance, door heights along the route must accommodate an appliance height including packaging and pallet of 2285 mm.
The required recess dimensions are 213.4 cm height, 61 cm width and 63.5 cm depth. The surrounding carcass walls must line up flush with the appliance at a depth of at least 102 mm and be at least 16 mm thick.
Yes. Monolith appliances can be installed Side-by-Side in the same fitted unit or in separate units. If the spacing between appliances is less than 102 mm, or if a dividing wall between separate units is less than 102 mm thick, a separately available Side-by-Side set is required.
Ventilation is provided entirely via the plinth panel. Door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor, and the grill in the plinth panel must not be obstructed. Supplied wall spacers/air separators must be fitted to separate warm exhaust air from incoming fresh air.
The appliance must be connected to an earthed, electrically protected socket supplying 220–240 V alternating current with a connected load of 1.5 A. The socket must be easily accessible and not located behind the appliance. Extension cables, multi-sockets and inverters must not be used.
With climate class SN-T, the appliance is designed for ambient temperatures between 10 °C and 43 °C. It must not be operated outside this range.
The ERBdi 9671 and ERBdi 9670 do not have an integrated water dispenser and do not include a water filter. Some other Monolith appliances may feature InfinitySpring or IceMaker and require a water connection, but these functions are not specified for this model.
