SoftSystem door closing

The SoftSystem technology ensures that the door closes particularly gently every time. This avoids vibrations caused by slamming doors so that wine bottles are optimally protected.

SoftTelescopic shelves

High–quality wooden shelves sit on smooth–running telescopic rails with a self–closing mechanism and soft closing damping. Additional wooden bars allow the interior to be adapted for variously sized wine and champagne bottles so the cabinet space can be fully utilised.

InfinityBoard pull–out shelf

The InfinityBoard pull–out shelf allows bottles to be stored temporarily while the wine collection is being sorted or expanded. It also makes serving easier, as wine can be opened and tasted directly at the cabinet.

InfinityProtection temperature control

Two temperature sensors in each wine safe protect against strong temperature fluctuations. When critical changes are detected, there is immediate notification to help prevent wines from becoming too warm or too cold.

FreshAir activated charcoal filter

Each wine safe is equipped with a FreshAir activated charcoal filter. Incoming air is cleaned and unpleasant odours are filtered out to protect stored wines. Replacement FreshAir filters are available as optional accessories for this model.

InfinityLight LED lighting

Integrated LED side wall lighting provides a beautiful, even glow throughout the cabinet. InfinityLight includes a soft brightening effect on opening the door and can be fine–tuned. The LED technology emits less heat and is more efficient than traditional lighting.

InfinitySwipe controls

The intuitive InfinitySwipe touch control makes it easy to manage all functions. The bright 3.5 inch touch & swipe display shows up to three temperatures on cabinets with multiple zones.

Aluminium labelling strip

An aluminium labelling strip allows labels for each stored wine to be applied directly to the shelf front, giving a clear overview of the wine supply.

Ventilation and plinth panel

The appliance is ventilated entirely via the plinth panel. Door panels must close at least 102 mm above the floor and the plinth grill must not be obstructed. Spacers supplied with the appliance must be fitted to separate warm outgoing air from incoming fresh air. Optional stainless steel plinth panels (102 mm high) are available in 45.7 cm width for this model.

Installation requirements

• The floor must support the weight of the appliance plus stored contents.
• The floor should be level so ventilation openings remain clear.
• Recess dimensions must be measured correctly and the power socket positioned as specified.
• Monolith appliances are designed for flush installation in units with 635 mm depth using stainless steel or customer–specific panels.
• Maximum door panel thickness is 30 mm and maximum panel weight for this model is 24 kg.
• Installations behind the appliance are not possible.
• The anti–tipping device at the base must be secured to the floor or wall.

Adjustment and door spacing

Adjustable feet are fully retracted at the minimum height. The appliance is raised from the front using the adjustable feet to bring it into contact with the anti–tipping device. To achieve the minimal plinth panel height of 102 mm, the feet must be raised by 6 to 8 mm and can be raised by up to 19 mm for higher plinths. To prevent doors and handles from colliding with adjacent elements, a minimum spacing of 76 mm is recommended for a door opening limited to 90°.

Side–by–Side installation

The EWT 9175 can be installed individually or Side–by–Side with other Liebherr refrigerators, freezers or wine cabinets. If the distance between appliances is less than 102 mm, a Side–by–Side set with sidewall heater, metal brackets, screws and decorative trim is required. The sidewall heater prevents condensation between appliances.

Electrical and safety notes

• The appliance must be operated with alternating current at the permitted voltage and frequency.
• Power sockets must be earthed, electrically protected, not located behind the appliance and easily accessible.
• Use of extension cables, multi–sockets or inverters is not permitted due to fire and safety risks.
• The appliance climate class for wine cabinets is SN–ST with ambient temperature from 10°C to 38°C. It must not be operated outside this range.
• Secure mounting using the anti–tipping device is required to prevent the appliance from tipping over.
