Installation and planning notes

Depending on whether the appliance is surface-mounted or flush-mounted, the specific definition of the cut-out must be observed. If combining several Vario appliances of the 400 series, a connection strip VA 420 must be placed between the appliances, with the corresponding connection strip selected according to the installation type.

The bearing capacity and stability of the worktop, particularly for thin worktops, must be supported by suitable substructures, taking into account the appliance weight and additional loads. For flush installation, installation is possible in worktops made of stone, synthetics or solid wood, with attention to heat resistance and watertight sealing of cut edges. For other materials, the worktop manufacturer should be consulted.

The groove must be continuous and even to ensure uniform placing of the appliance on the gasket; discontinuous lining should not be used. Joint width may vary due to size tolerances of the combinations and the worktop cut-out. When installing several appliances in individual cut-outs, a division bar of minimum 50 mm between individual cut-outs is required.

The appliance operates only with magnetic (induction) iron pots and pans, and the use of sandwich bottom cookware is recommended for optimal heat distribution. The appliance can be snapped into the worktop from above.

Please check the user manual for how to switch off the WiFi module.
