The AW290110 is a 90 cm wall‑mounted hood in a stainless steel look from the 200 series, designed for use above gas or electric hobs. It combines an energy‑saving, low‑noise fan with perforated stainless steel grease filters for high grease absorption. Installation, Planning and Usage

The equivalent ducting length to ensure good performance is L_max 26 m. The package includes a two‑part chimney, allowing a total appliance height from 635 mm to 895 mm in extraction mode. For recirculation, an air recirculation module is required, providing a total appliance height from 803 mm to 1080 mm and easy access to the odour filter from below.

Clearance above gas appliances must be at least 65 cm, or at least 70 cm when the total gas load exceeds 12 kW. Clearance above electric appliances must be at least 55 cm. When installing the hood in air extraction mode together with a chimney‑vented fireplace, the power supply line must feature a suitable safety switch.

Perforated sheet metal filters are dishwasher‑safe for convenient cleaning. Ventilation can be controlled by three power levels and an intensive mode, with automatic, sensor‑controlled adjustment according to cooking vapours. Interval ventilation, saturation indicators and light colour adjustment are available via Gaggenau Home Connect.
