Installation and Ventilation Requirements

For optimum cooling performance, minimum energy consumption and long lifespan, this minibar must be installed with sufficient ventilation and on a stable, level surface. Heat extracted from the interior is emitted at the back of the unit and must be able to dissipate freely into the room.

General positioning

• Place the minibar on a surface that is level in both directions.
• Do not place the unit directly near a heat source, in direct sunlight, next to a heating radiator, window or curtains.
• The mains plug/socket must remain freely accessible once installed.
• Never cover ventilation grills or slots.

Built‑in furniture installation

• Suitable for free‑standing use or integration into a piece of furniture with the supplied quick‑fix sliding hinge.
• Add approximately 15 mm to height, 30 mm to width and 20 mm to depth to calculate cavity dimensions for built‑in versions as a guideline.
• Place the fridge approximately 10 mm inside the furniture door, ensuring dimensions conform with ventilation requirements.
• Leave at least 20 mm clearance between the cooling unit at the rear and the furniture wall.
• It is advised to cut a hole in the back of the surrounding furniture to maximise airflow.

Ventilation for HiPro NTE minibars (including N30S)

For HiPro NTE series minibars, the free ventilation space for both incoming and outgoing air should be at least 200 cm² (approximately 31 in²). Air must flow in a chimney‑like pattern from bottom to top.

• Provide an air inlet below the unit and an air outlet above; side ventilation must be avoided in all cases.
• Air passing through the ventilation duct must not be pre‑heated by any source of heat.
• Only the entire cooling unit should protrude into the ventilation duct.
• Ventilation grills, if used, must have free openings of at least 200 cm² for both incoming and outgoing air for HiPro NTE models.
• Between the minibar’s back (including the cooling unit) and the surrounding structure, leave at least 15–40 mm of free space as indicated for HiPro NTE models.

Standard minibar ventilation principles

• The fridge needs at least a 200 cm² free air inlet for cool air to enter.
• Provide at least a 200 cm² free air outlet so warm air can be released into the ambient air.
• The ventilation duct should be at least 105 mm by the width of the refrigerator.
• Air inlet options include a cut‑out, series of slots, grill or arched opening in the toe kick.
• The outflow air vent must exit into free space in the room, not into an enclosed space such as a cupboard or ceiling void.
• An inflow and outflow of air are both vital; an outlet alone is not sufficient.

Product warranty is only valid if the minibar is installed, used and maintained as described in the installation manual and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
