Installation and Ventilation Requirements

The minibar is suitable for free-standing use or integration into furniture using the supplied quick-fix sliding hinge. Correct ventilation is essential for efficient cooling, low energy consumption and longer lifespan.

General positioning

Place the minibar on a stable surface that is level in both directions.
Do not place the fridge in direct sunlight, next to a heating radiator, window or curtains.
Never cover ventilation grills or slots.
The mains plug/socket must be freely accessible once installed.

Built-in ventilation for HiPro NTE series (including N30)

Ensure chimney-like airflow with air inlet below the unit and air outlet above it; side ventilation must be avoided.
Free ventilation space for incoming air: at least 200 cm².
Free ventilation space for outgoing air: at least 200 cm².
Between the minibar’s back (including cooling unit) and surrounding structure: at least 15–40 mm.
At the rear of the fridge, leave a minimum 20 mm distance between the cooling unit and furniture wall.
Ventilation grills, if used, must have free openings of at least 200 cm² each for incoming and outgoing air.
Air passing through the ventilation duct must not be preheated by any source of heat.

Furniture integration guidance

As a general guideline for built-in fridges, consider adding 15 mm to height, 30 mm to width and 20 mm to depth to obtain cavity dimensions (not model-specific).
Place the fridge approximately 10 mm inside the furniture door when integrating.
Dimensions must conform together with ventilation requirements, measured from the inside face of the furniture door.
It is advised that a hole is cut out of the back of the furniture to maximise airflow.
The outflow air vent must exit into free space in the room and must not vent into an enclosed space such as a cupboard, case good or ceiling void.

Minibar-specific principles

Heat from the cooling unit is emitted at the back of the minibar and must be removed by sufficient ventilation.
Insufficient ventilation can reduce cooling capacity, increase energy consumption and lower lifespan.
The entire cooling unit should protrude into the ventilation duct.
Product warranty is only valid if installed as described in the installation manual.
