Installation and Ventilation Requirements

To ensure proper cooling performance, energy efficiency and product lifespan, the minibar must be installed with adequate ventilation and on a stable, level surface.

Place the minibar on a surface that is level in both directions.
For furniture integration, leave at least 20 mm clearance between the back cooling unit and the furniture wall.
Ventilation must follow a chimney-like airflow with the air inlet below the unit and the air outlet above; side ventilation must be avoided.
For HiPro absorption minibars, free ventilation space for incoming air should be at least 150 cm², and for outgoing air at least 200 cm².
Air passing through the ventilation duct must not be preheated by any source of heat.
Ventilation grills, if used, should provide the minimum free opening areas specified for incoming and outgoing air.
The outlet air vent must release warm air into free room space, not into an enclosed cupboard or ceiling void.
Do not place the minibar in direct sunlight or next to a heating radiator, window or curtains.
Never cover ventilation grills or slots; a free circulation of air around the cooling unit is essential.
When building into furniture, the mains plug or socket must remain freely accessible once installed.

Correct ventilation prevents a build-up of hot air behind the minibar, maintains cooling capacity, limits energy consumption and supports the lifespan of the unit.
