Installation, Features and Usage

Installation and planning

The hood is designed for flush-fitted installation in wall cupboards and is suitable for installation in bottomless wall cupboards. It includes an IDH comfort installation system and enclosed spacers for installation in wall cupboards with a maximum depth of up to 360 mm. For installation in higher wall cupboards, chimney extensions are available as optional accessories, and these chimney extensions are compatible with the available recirculation kits.

It is suitable for ducted or recirculating operation. For recirculated extraction, various recirculation kits are available as optional accessories. The diameter pipe is ø 150 mm (ø 120 mm enclosed), and a back-pressure flap is included.

Controls and operation

Electronic control is via TouchControl on the glass panel. There are 3 power levels and an intensive setting. Extraction and lighting are automatically turned on and off by opening and closing the glass panel. Lighting can also be turned on and off when the glass panel is closed by a quick hand touch on the control panel. The hood features an automatic intensive revert function (6 minutes).

Lighting

The hood provides 3 × 2 W LED lights with a colour temperature of 3500 K and a light intensity of 517 lux. A Softlight dimmer function allows adjustment of lighting levels.

Filtration and cleaning

The design includes 2 removable metal grease filter cassettes with washable stainless steel grease filter material and a steel filter cover. The hood uses easy to clean smooth surfaces and materials. Optional Clean Air Standard and Clean Air Plus odour filters and recirculation kits are available for recirculating mode.

Storage and protection

The space efficient compact design provides extra storage possibilities on the hood, up to a maximum of 10 kg storage weight per side. Mats for the hood storage areas are included to protect against scratches and to help prevent items moving in this space.
