The Series 8 PXX875D67E is an 80 cm built–in induction hob with a fully integrated downdraft ventilation system, designed for installation into a 60 cm base cabinet. It offers four cooking zones with two FlexInduction areas, DirectSelect Premium touch control and advanced functions such as PowerBoost, PerfectAir sensor and PerfectFry. A Clean Air Plus odour filter and slider for unducted recirculation are included for convenient ducted or recirculated extraction configurations.

Can this hob be used with both ducted and recirculated extraction?

Yes. The integrated ventilation system is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction and supports four options: unducted, partly ducted recirculation, fully ducted recirculation and ducted extraction. Installation accessories for unducted recirculation are included, while additional kits are recommended for other configurations.

What filters are included and how are odours handled?

A slider for unducted recirculation and a Clean Air Plus odour filter are included. For recirculation, the system uses 2 x 2 batteries of directly integrated Clean Air odour filters with a large surface and high odour reduction capabilities, optimised for complex odours such as fish. They also provide anti–pollen functionality and have a lifetime of 360 hours of cooking.

Is the hob compatible with smart home functions?

The hob is Home Connect enabled. This allows you to check if the hob is switched off when you are not at home and to access recipes and additional functions, including the Dish assistant and filter saturation notifications for the Clean Air filters, via the Home Connect app.

How easy is it to clean the ventilation components?

The grease filter and liquid collector unit can be removed easily with one hand using the floating glass ceramics handle. The stainless–steel grease filters, upper liquid collector and lower liquid safety collector are fully dishwasher safe and heat resistant. The system also features a powerful drainage system and a watertight blower.

What safety features does this hob offer?
