- Exterior - This is a nine-storey traditional building.
- General - This is a boutique style hotel with an European feel due to it's traditional features. (0601/1101:NM)
- Lobby - The small sized lobby features original oak wood molding, high ceilings, bright exposures and fresh flowers.
- Location - The hotel is one block from Museum Mile and Central Park convenient to all sights and attractions in Manhattan, and is situated in New York's charming upscale Carnegie Hill neighbourhood. The hotel is surrounded by historic mansions, chic boutiques, lively restaurants and cafes.
- Restaurant - The restaurant which is located on the premises serves delicious American cuisine and fine baked goods in a warm country setting.
- Rooms - The guestrooms have detailed pieces of millwork which surrounds the windows, doorways and original cased openings between the sitting rooms and bedrooms. Many of the guestrooms have received bathroom upgrades, including new fixtures, tile work and improved lighting. Some of the rooms command views of Central Park. Nearly half of the rooms are suites with decorative fireplaces, featuring exquisite wood moldings and carefully refurbished Beaux-Arts details.
