Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The building is a mid rise grey, modern building with no distinguishing features and typical of the 1960's.
- General - This hotel has an excellent location which is why it is very popular with all travellers. (1200/0902:NM)
- Lobby - The lobby is fairly large and modern in style. Upon entering, the reception desk is located to your left and this area leads into the contemporary styled restaurant/bar. There is also some seating within this lobby.
- Location - This hotel is located on the corner of Lexington Avenue and 51st street in Midtown Manhattan within walking distance to the famous Bloomingdales, 5th avenue shopping, Central Park, the theatre district and museums. For your convenience, the subway station literally next door
- Restaurant - The restaurant/bar is located just inside the main entrance on the ground floor serving American cuisine in an informal and contemporary atmosphere.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium sized, modern and comfortable. They have pastel colored draperies and bedspreads with contrasting earthtoned carpetting. They all have a limited amount of furniture but a cushioned pink chair is common to all types of accomodation. However, it should be noted that the rooms could benefit from some cosmetic redecoration. The small bathrooms are decorated with grey marble and matching tiles.
