• Exterior - The hotel has a tropical theme with palm trees surrounding the property. Exotic birds and fish ponds on the grounds to add authenticity. There is a Paradise Tower, approximately 22 stories, Island Tower, approximately 22 stories, and Garden Room area, three stories in height. Two pools, one with a swim-up bar are also outside.
• General - The hotel has 45,000 square feet of gaming space. Folies Bergere, the longest running show is Las Vegas, is in the showroom. There is a magic show performed twice daily. A gambling museum is on-site. The hotel has a full-service spa with weight room, sauna and jacuzzi. There are three pools including the cities only indoor pool which features swim-up black jack during the summer months. Fine retail shops are at the hotel as well as an arcade and business center.
• Lobby - The lobby and registration desk are within steps of the entrance, which is a convenience not often presented at Las Vegas properties.
• Location - The hotel is located on the corner of Tropicana Avenue and the Strip at the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard. Nearby hotels include Excalibur, New York-New York and MGM Grand. The airport and convention facilities are a short drive away.
• Restaurant - A meal at the hotel can range from fine dining to casual dining in a tropical surrounding. Other options include a steakhouse, Japanese cuisine, a deli, buffet style dining and a coffee house. In total there are 7 eateries and 3 bars.
• Rooms - Garden Rooms surround the pool and garden area. Some include balconies. Island Tower Rooms are deluxe rooms located in the rear tower convientent to convention and pool areas. Paradise Tower Rooms which were recently remodeled in the front tower and nearest to casino area.
