- Exterior - This is a modern, high-rise downtown hotel which was built in 1988 and is famous for its unique architectural triangular design. The all-glass triangular hotel, wedged into the confluence of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan has fabulous wrap-around views from Navy Pier to Grant Park

- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized and luxuriously appointed, designed in comtemporary style with high ceilings and polished hard wood columns.
- Location - The hotel is centrally located on Wacker Drive, where the Chicago river meets Lake Michigan and the famous Navy Pier.
- Restaurant - The hotel's famous restaurant is located off the front of lobby and serves huge steaks and Nova Scotia Lobsters. The restaurant's walls are decorated with caricatures of famous local Chicagoans. The cafe is a classic bistro serving traditional fare.
