- Exterior - The hotel is modern and designed with a very tropical spanish feel. It is nestled among five acres of palms trees, hibiscus and native tropical foliage.
- General - The hotel has a large pool which is heated in the cooler months.
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size with a comfortable sitting area.
- Location - The hotel is centrally located along the famous north Tamiami Trail, the "Gateway To Sarasota" just 1.6 kilometers south of the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport, Ringling Museum, Cars of Yesterday and Sarasota Jungle Gardens. It is also close to theaters, dining, the Dog Track, St. Armands shopping, Mote Marine Aquarium, Selby Botanical Gardens, golf, fishing and boating. Just minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sarasota, Florida.
- Restaurant - The hotel's lounge has been Sarasota's traditional night cap location for over 30 years, famous for their secret recipes.The hotel does not have a restaurant but it does serve freash pastries, coffee and juices in their hospitality area overlooking the lush pool grounds.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and well apponited with nice furnishings. They are decorated in a traditional style with the use of earthtones throughout. The bathrooms are medium in size and offer a bath/shower combination.
