- Exterior - It is a southwestern-style resort built around plazas and courtyards in 1999. Accommodations in 2-story cabanas, 2-& 3-story ranchos & 3- & 4-story casitas. There is a stepped mayan pyramid towering over an elaborate 120'x90' pool area with a water slide and a playground that doubles as an archeological dig site for kids. There is a jaguar perched over the water slide spitting water at guests as they slide down.
- General - This resort will intrigue the explorer in everyone with themes from Francisco de Coronado's travels to Northern Mexico to the American Southwest. (1199/0200:MM)

- Location - The resort is located 32 kms from the Orlando International Airport, near Epcot, Disney-MGM Studio & Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
- Restaurant - There are 3 restaurants in the hotel, including a food court open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine.
- Rooms - Rooms and suites are situated in 3 villages around a 15 acre lake called Lago Dorado. Rooms are all spacious and well appointed, with ceiling fans.
