- Exterior - Art deco building built in the 1940's retains the old traditional style
- General - This hotel has a long tradition of being used by production companies adn it is not surprising to see famous faces among the guests - the location is ideal for the Miami beach nightlife and also Miami beach convention center information taken from brochure dec 98
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized with an impressive staircase and comfortable seating areas
- Location - The shelborne beach is situated in the heart of south beach a short walk from ocean drive. 30 mintues from Miami international airport and 15-20 mintues from downtown Miami.
- Restaurant - The terrace cafe offers Breakfast lunch and dinner in an intimate atmosphere - dining available outside. There is a poolside cafe and bar and also a lobby bar and lounge.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size - they are all decorated comfortably in pink and green colours. Some have sea views.
