- Exterior - It is a classic island style resort,built in 1970.
- General - Holiday Inn is surrounded by the beauty of the gulf of Mexico, where you can take in a challenging game of shuffleboard, beach volleyball, parasailing,golf, the area's attractions, ideal for leisure travellers. Taken from brochure and information sheet aug 99
- Lobby - Lobby is medium in size with lots of plants and attractive sitting area.
- Location - Holiday Inn gulfside is located in residential and quiet area of estero island, right on 4.8 km of uninterrupted beach, just 45 minutes from southwest int'l airport.
- Restaurant - Mangrove bay cafe is acclaimed for it's fine cuisine, Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel lounge is open daily iwht live entertainment wednesday through saturday and the tiki poolside bar and grille provides cooling refreshments and snacks.
- Rooms - Hotel has 103 rooms including two oversized two bedroom suites beach front. Standard guest rooms are medium in size in traditional style with new carpet and attractive furnishing.
