- General - -not visited, report from brochure- guests have access to a nearby health club and swimming pool and parking is available on request. This hotel is very well located and offers european style accommodation in a modern city.
- Lobby - The hotel lobby has hand carved wooden doorway arches, bevelled glass panelled doors and Austrian chandeliers reflected by Italian gilded mirrors. Comfortable sofas and chairs are arranged to create an elegant ambiance.
- Location - The Orchard is a historic, charming 94 room European style hotel located just off San Francisco's elegant Union Square. Chinatown is just 3 blocks away and the cable car to Fishermans Wharf is within a minutes walk.
- Restaurant - The lobby lounge has a fully stocked bar, perfect for apres shopping libation. Complementary hors d'oeuvres are served Tuesday-Saturday, as well as complementary coffee and newspapers each morning. The sutter garden restaurant offers buffet breakfasts and dinners in a skylit room filled with original paintings and antiques.
- Rooms - All guest rooms have minibars and traditional mahogany furnishings, and are very comfortable and welcoming.
