- Exterior - The hotel is constructed in Neo Gothic style with sandy colored brick rising 8 storys in height.
- General - This historic boutique hotel dates from 1926 and was once considered the finest motor coach hotels in San Francisco. The hotel has been referenced to in the classic mystery novel "The Maltese Falcon". The hotel offers friendly concierge service in the lobby which can direct you to all attractions in the city and nearby areas.
- Lobby - The lobby is small in size with conceirge service located here. The mezzanine level offers a large waiting area for guests.
- Location - The hotel is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco two blocks from the San Francisco Shopping Center, the cable car lines, the Moscone Convention Center, the Museum of Modern Art. Union Square is in close proximity to the hotel.
- Restaurant - An on-site restaurant offers breakfast and lunch options for hotel guests. Numerous restaurants are in a short walking distance from the hotel.
