- Exterior - The 36 story hotel has a modern gray concrete exterior with some rooms featuring floor to ceiling windows.
- General - The hotel offers a fitness center, guided jogging program weekday mornings and sauna facilities. Additionally, guests have priviledges at a nearby tennis club. There is a business center on-site.
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized with an elegant marble floor and hand painted murals. There is a waiting area with tables and chairs.
- Location - The hotel is located in downtown San Francisco one block from San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Gardens Center for the Performing Arts and the Moscone Convention Center. Sony Metreon Entertainment Complex, Pacific Bell Park, Union Square shopping, and trolley cars to Fisherman's Wharf are nearby.
- Restaurant - The hotel's restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Euro-Pacific cuisine accents French, Italian and Japanese cooking with Chef Joel Guillon at the helm. He is one of only 300 French Master Chefs in the world. The nighttime atmosphere of the lounge is hip and popular in the San Francisco scene.
