- Exterior - The 36 storey hotel has a modern grey concrete exterior with some rooms featuring floor to ceiling windows.
- General - The hotel offers an on-site fitness centre with nautilus equipment massage and sauna. Additionally, guests have complimentary priviledges at a nearby tennis club. The Argent San Francisco is highly recommended. (1299/1000:NM)
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized with an elegant marble floor and hand painted murals.
- Location - It is next to yerba buena gardens centre for the arts and the museum of modern art. The cable car lines to fisherman's wharf are just 2 blocks away. Union square is within a short walk, as is the San Francisco shopping and sony centre.
- Restaurant - Cafe fifty-three is the Ana Restaurant, where culinary styles range from classic californian to international specialities, together with a daytime buffet for breakfast, lunch and sunday brunch. During warmer weather the patio dining area, set within colourful landscaped gardens is a perfect retreat.
- Rooms - All guest rooms have safety deposit boxes, 3 telephones, voicemail, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are elegant and stylish.
