- General - Not visited, report from brochure - the hotel has conference and banqueting facilities.
- Lobby - The lobby is very large with high ceilings, friezed pillars, leather chairs and tables. The lobby is carpeted.
- Location - The Best Western Mayfair hotel is situated on west Seventh Street in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the business district, near the Civic Centre, Jewelry mart and Convention Centre.
- Restaurant - The orchid gardens restaurant has an art deco setting and striking murals and is well known for excellent food.
- Rooms - The rooms are spacious, comfortable and simply furnished and decorated in cream colours.
