- Exterior - The hotel is a simple, traditional building with a pale cream facade.
- General - This is an excellent choice for budget conscious individuals looking for a practically hotel ideally located for sightseeing or nightlife alike. 1198/0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby is very small and unsuitable for group check in/out.
- Location - The hotel is located right in the centre of Zurich on the edge of the old town just 2 minutes walk from Zurich central station. The shortest funicular railway in Europe is right next to the hotel, leading up to the university. Some rooms will be a little noisy due to the hotel's prime location.
- Restaurant - The breakfast room is located on the first floor and is a particularly attractive room, decorated in traditional style with windows all down one wall.
- Rooms - The rooms are small and simple in style. Almost all have attractive parquet floors. The furniture is rather old fashioned, but nonetheless in fair condition. The bathrooms are also in fair condition.
