- Exterior - The facade of the Pollux hotel is made of dark wood, with ornate carving and colourful flower boxes. There is a terrace in front overlooking the street.

- Lobby - The lobby is small and cosy, featuring lots of exposed wood and a stone tiled floor.
- Location - The Pollux hotel is located right in the centre of Zermatt on the Bahnhofstrasse, the livliest street in Zermatt.
- Restaurant - The hotel has a group dining room on the first floor and a very popular restaurant, decorated in typical Swiss style, which is open to passers- by and offers an excellent Swiss speciality menu. 060498
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size due to the age of the building, but on average they are medium sized. On the whole they are traditional in style though some of the furniture is more modern. The decor is simple and the overall impression is of unpretentious practicality. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition. The rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the main street and might be a little noisier in the evening than those at the back.
