Hotel Reports
- Exterior - It is actually quite a modern building, but it is traditional in style with plenty of exposed woodwork and intricate detailing.
- General - 0498/0101SF
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby is wonderfully elegant with beautiful carved woodwork and a pale tiled floor. There is also a small seating area.
- Location - The hotel is located by the river just outside the centre of the village, a pleasant 05 minute walk to the train station.
- Restaurant - The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor, continues the theme of refined elegance combined with traditional Swiss rustic charm. This hotel comes highly recommended, it is one of Zermatt's lovliest four star properties. It is also particularly suitable for young families as it has a large childrens' play room.
- Rooms - The rooms are beautiful. They are all different shapes and sizes (on average they are large though) and the decoration varies from room to room. Overall, though, the style of the rooms is a fine balance between rustic and more elegant traditional Swiss styles. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
