- General - This hotel is situated opposite the Falken hotel and is of a superior First class level. It overlooks the valley and is close to the station. This is a chalet style property which has been maintained to a high degree. This traditional hotel has a lot of character. The lounge and the reception area are very spacious with high ceilings. Throughout the hotel different woods and beamshave been used to create a homely atmosphere. The rooms have all been redecorated and are medium sized. These Swiss style rooms have all modern facilities and are comfortable. The restaurant which serves a wide variety of speciality meals, overlooks the valley. A great deal of attention has been paid to detail and the standard of service is high. 30th jan 1993
