- Exterior - This is a traditional building.
- General - A no-frills hotel, suitable for those travelling on a strict budget who are not concerned with all the "extras" provided in some hotels. 0301SF
- Lobby - The lobby is small, decorated using dark woods.
- Location - Villars is just beyond the tip of lake Geneva, the nearest town being Montreux. The hotel is 500 metres from the centre of the village and is reached by a mountain railway.The railway stops just down the hill from the hotel.
- Restaurant - There is no restaurant available at present, but a there is a breakfast room.
- Rooms - Rooms vary in size between small and medium. These are basic rooms, in fair condition, with tiled bathrooms. Guests are asked to bring their own towels and toiletries. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms. There is, however, a TV lounge for guests to use.
