- Exterior - The hotel is a traditional, imposing building.
- General - Overall this imposing hotel offers guests of every type a wonderful, flavoursome impression of engadin. 0199/0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized. It is furnished in traditional, slightly spartan engadin style with a stone floor, solid wood furnishings and whitewashed walls.
- Location - The hotel is located in the centre of St Moritz village above the small railway station.
- Restaurant - The main restaurant is on the lower ground floor, with one wall dominated by large windows overlooking the lake. The hotel has a second group dining room, often used for fondues. Both restaurants are decorated in simple rustic style.
- Rooms - The rooms are fairly simple in style with rustic furniture and clean, whitewashed walls. Most enjoy spectacular views over the lake beyond St Moritz's little railway station, whilst those with views to the road have slightly limited views. The rooms are medium sized on average and, like the bathrooms, are in very good condition.
