Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is an attractive traditional building. Its "old world" charm and history have an immmediate impact.
- General - Steeped in tradition, this is one of the best hotels in town. 0498/0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized, and has recently been refurbished along with the other reception areas, maintaining the traditional style of the exterior. The other public areas are quite spacious, and are decorated in traditional style with some beautiful "period" furniture.
- Location - The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the lake in a quiet, residential area. To reach it, there is a small windy road, or the private funicular which runs according to demand and can be found on lake level just opposite the palace hotel.
- Restaurant - The restaurant has been refurbished in a traditonal style, and the bar has been given a rejuvenated image as it is a new and popular jazz bar. Both have a superb views over Lucerne town and lake.
- Rooms - There are equal numbers of medium and large rooms, and they are decorated in the same fashion as the rest of the property. They are comfortable and offer modern facilities with all bathrooms being in good condition. Some also have balconies with views over the lake and mountains.
