Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This is the smallest of Lucerne's three grand five star hotels, but its exterior is nonetheless extremely impressive.
- General - This lovely five star comes highly recommended particularly for discerning travellers insisting on fine service. 0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized with a beautiful carpet and wonderful original features.
- Location - The hotel is located directly on the promenade by Lake Lucerne about 05 minutes walk into the centre of the charming old town.
- Restaurant - The hotel has three restaurants one is traditional and very grand with beautiful coving round the ceiling and chandeliers, one is in the style of a Viennese coffee shop and is popular with locals also breakfast is served here). Finally the hotel also has a very high class Thai restaurant.
- Rooms - The rooms vary considerably in size, from medium to very large. They are mostly very opulent with antique furniture and high ceilings, though some of the smaller, non-lakeview rooms are a little more subdued in style. It goes without saying in this top five star that both the rooms and the luxurious bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
