Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The exterior of this hotel is truly impressive. As its name suggests, the hotel was originally a castle dating from the twelfth century. Although it has been transformed this century, the tower part of the hotel has retained its traditional style, whilst the rest of it has been modernised.
- General - This hotel offers a lot of charm and tradition together with a reasonable standard of service for its category. 0998/0101SF
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby is very traditional in style.
- Location - This hotel is located beside the Lausanne-Ouchy yacht harbour.
- Restaurant - The hotel has a spectacular gourmet restaurant, which is very traditional in style, with a high ceiling and chandeliers. Alternatively, guests can dine in the hotel's brasserie, which is more informal. The brasserie is light and airy with lots of greenery and lovely views of the surrounding area.
- Rooms - Although they vary quite considerably, on average the rooms are all medium sized. They are decorated in Louis the XIII style and are quite charming. Most of the rooms vary from fair to good condition as do the bathrooms, but it must be admitted that some are really in poor condition.
