Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The exterior of the building is traditional with chalet style architecture.
- General - This first class property offers a high standard of service, it is just a shame it is not as central as many of the other hotels in Interlaken. 0101SF
- Lobby - The small lobby has kept its traditional Swiss style despite having been renovated over the years. Different types of wood have been used in the decor and the area has a cosy homely feel to it.
- Location - This hotel overlooks the river aare. It is just a short stroll from Interlaken East railway station and close to the main streets of Interlaken. There is a boat service leaving next to the hotel crossing the Thunner lake.
- Restaurant - The hotel's restaurants serve a variety of cuisine; one is a cosy snack restaurant and the other is a la carte. The a la carte restaurant offers spectacular views of the river and specialises in fish from the lake Brienz. During the summer, the hotel also opens its terrace restaurant.
- Rooms - The medium sized rooms vary considerably in style. Some rooms are very traditional and others are quite modern. The rooms are all in good condition as are the bathrooms.
