- Exterior - The exterior of the hotel is modern and lacks character, but is well maintained.
- General - Although this property is small, it is very cosy and comfortable, but the rooms most definitely need to be refurbished.
- Lobby - The lobby is small and compact.
- Location - This hotel is situated directly on the banks of lake Luzern and is aproximately 20 minutes from the city of Luzern. The hotel is easily accessible from the main road and is located in a small residential area.
- Restaurant - There are two restaurants in the hotel; a fish restaurant and another restaurant which serves a large selection of typical Swiss and international cuisine set in traditional surroundings. One of the restaurants is reminiscent of a winter garden and is popular for its salads and dessert buffets. There is also a typical English style pub where one can enjoy pre and after dinner drinks.
- Rooms - The hotel rooms are basic but a lot of them have beautiful views over the lake. The decor is very dated and they could certainly do with a facelift. Bathrooms, like the rooms, are small and in fair condition.
