- Exterior - The building is traditional and simple.
- General - 160899
- Lobby - The lobby is small, but there is additional seating in the lounge/bar which is just off the lobby. The atmosphere is cosy, though some guests might consider it a little dark to be truly welcoming.
- Location - The Sans Souci ("carefree") hotel is located in the centre of Grindelwald in a quiet area about 02mins walk from the mani street through the village.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is on the ground floor and is a grand dining room with large elegant windows giving onto the hotel's small garden.
- Rooms - Due to the age of the building the rooms vary a lot in size and style. On the whole they are small to medium sized, and all are traditionally decorated. The rooms are cosy and simple rather than luxurious and good perhaps do with some renovation as they are a little old fashioned, but they are comfortable and functional. The bathrooms and the rooms are both in fair to good condition.
