Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is actually a very historic building, but the guest's first impression is of a more modern property due to the restaurant and dining room extension which was added more recently.
- General - 0200/0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby area is small, but there is plentiful seating for guests checking in or out in the adjoining bar/restaurant area.
- Location - The hotel is located in the centre of the village of Fluelen at the southern end of lake Lucerne. The lake is just a stone's throw from the hotel as is the little railway station.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is one of the hotel's best selling points. It is very large and part of the modern extension to the front of the building. Windows the length of the lake side command glorious views over the lake and the surrounding mountains.
- Rooms - The rooms are mostly small and cosy. They are all in the historic part of the building and therefore vary somewhat in shape and style, but they all have low ceilings and simple, functional decor. The old fashioned bathrooms are in fair condition whilst the rooms are in good condition despite their age and simplicity.
