- Exterior - The hotel is modern, but retains a distinctly Swiss flavour architecturally, with lots of exposed wood.
- General - To think of this hotel as a pure Interlaken alternative would be to undersell it. With the exception of a few hotels high in the Swiss mountains (typically only accessible via special railway such as in Murren) this hotel has one of the most spectacular locations imagineable - highly recommended! 0798/0101SF
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized and modern.
- Location - The hotel is located on the main street that runs through the picturesque village of Beatenberg high up in the mountains above Interlaken. The hotel commands some of the most spectacular views of any hotel in Switzerland over the Thuner lake and the alps.
- Restaurant - The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor is modern in style, and has lots of typically Swiss touches in the decoration.
- Rooms - The rooms vary somewhat in size depending on their class, but even the smallest is medium in size. All are decorated similarly and all enjoy breathtaking views. The decor is simple and furnishings practical and comfortable. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
