- Exterior - It is a very impressive building, with a classical facade. Large arched windows dominate the central part of the building, culminating in the town clock above the hotel.
- General -
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized, and filled with traditional furnishings whichlend an elegant atmosphere to the reception Area.
- Location - The stadshotell is located in the main square in the centre of Haparanda.
- Restaurant - The main restaurant is a very light and open room, with cream wood walls and white tables and chairs. There is also a small, traditional country lodge style restaurant in the hotel cellar. This is a very good, elegant traditional product which has been maintained to the highest standards.
- Rooms - Bedrooms Are, on average, large and in very good condition. They follow a traditional design style. Carpets Are predominantly a deep red colour, matching with suede chairs, whereas bedclothes and curtains have floral patterns. Bathrooms Are modern and in very good condition.
