- Exterior - The hotel named after the catholic king occupies a building of modern construction, although very respectful to the architectural surrounding, one of the best medieval areas of aragon.

- Location - The hotel stands inside the medieval walled town of sos and lies 123 kilometres away from zaragoza.The town of Sos Del Rey Catolico has been declared a national monument, as an historic and artistic complex. Places of interest include the Palace of sada where king fernando el catolico was born in 1452. The church of san esteban near the castle will also be of interest as will the 13th century romanesque cistercian hermitage of santa lucia.
