- Exterior - The Palace, located in the heart of town, has a magnificent patio and staircase decorated with lombardy carvings. It is rectangular with five and six arches on each side.

- Location - The hotel is housed in a renaissance Palace and is a delightful spot for art lovers. The Palace was built in 1459 by the first count of alba y aliste.
- Restaurant - The cuisine, typical of Zamora is heavy and tasty with a character of its own. One can sample such dishes as 'el bacalao a la tranca' (a cod dish), 'el pulpo a la sanabresa' (an octupus dish), and 'presas de ternera' (a veal dish). For dessert there is 'el rebojo Zamorano', a very tasty though hard type of biscuit, and 'las natillas almendradas' (spanish style custard with almonds).
- Rooms - The medieval atmosphere evoked by the armours, tapestries and attractive four poster beds, is in harmony with the magnificent patio, corridors and coats of arms all over the hotel.
