• General - For many years Deia has been a Colony for artists and the village has much to offer, Galleries, museums and a historic church and of course cafes and bars. Originally the olive press for the old house el olivo has been transformed into one of the finest restaurants in Spain. The private cove is 3 kms from the hotel and regular transport is provided by the hotel`s minibus. The bathing is excellent and safe and the conditions are ideal for snorkeling and diving. 08/04/98 ngm

• Location - On the outskirts of the picturesque village of Deia, the hotel has been lovingly transformed from two original old manor houses, into a luxurious hotel nestling in thirty acres of olive and citrus groves. The hotel`s terraces give dramatic views of the mountains and the village. The bars and solons have a casual formality that blends magically with the breathtaking views from their terraces. Sit under the eucalyptus and linden trees and enjoy the attentive service and atmosphere, remininscent of the old Spanish senorial house.

• Rooms - The bedrooms are furnished with traditional Spanish furniture collected from Mallorca and the mainland. Most of the rooms have four-poster beds and the bathrooms are marble and local tiles. With breathtaking views from the windows, the scent of jasmine and the colour of the bourgainvillia, nobody minds waking up here.
