Hotel Reports
Exterior - The very small hotel occupies the octagonal tower of an old fortress that is one of the most interesting medieval monuments in the Region, which is made of stone and wood. The main entrance of the tower is reached over a drawbridge, which completes the medieval image.
General - Guests should sample the conical shaped, amber coloured cheese of san simon which is a product of the village of Villalba. (0400/0700ka)
Lobby - The main hall is quite enchanting and magical. It is decorated with allegorical pictures of the andrade family and formal furnishings. Its medieval arches, vaulted wooden ceiling and fireplace make guests think that they Really are in the 14th century.
Location - The hotel stands in the centre of the village, overlooking countryside that is rich and unspoilt.
Restaurant - In this rather unique hotel one can enjoy the typical cuisine of galicia such as 'lacon con grelos' (salted pork with turnip tops), and 'la empanada'(a typical pie filled with either meat or fish).
Rooms - All of them have preserved their medieval ambience. The six rooms are replete with wood details, wrought iron lamps and castilian furniture.
