- Location - This is a three star hotel and can be sold as a superior first.The building has been recently totally renovated and all the rooms are very spacious and well decorated. The pilgrims had to pass through Portomarin ,which is the French route the way to Santiago, and it has earn fame as a place of rest,( the hotel is surrounded by fantastic views ), suppling and spiritual rejoicing. The outstanding sites of the village Portomarin are the fortified temples of sannicolas,the romanesque church of San Juan,chapel of the nieves and the loio monastery. Portomarin is located 23 kms from Lugo and t70 kms from Orense and it is less than an hour`s drive to Santiago de compostela. 13-07-98
