- Exterior - A purpose built modern construction.
- General - Arguably the best hotel in Durban. 0500/PG
- Lobby - A stone reception area which has a small seating area directly in front of it. Decorated with hand made original South African artwork alignes the walls of the lobby.
- Location - Situated in the heart of Durban's city centre, ideal for corporate clients. The waterfront area is a short drive away.
- Restaurant - The hotel boasts a large variety with five restaurants and four bars. All restaurants serve international cuisine.
- Rooms - All the rooms are medium in size & in good condition. The bathrooms which are furnished in marble are also in good condition. Decor varies with some rooms being traditional and the more recently furnished being modern.
