- Exterior - A modern building with no distinguishing charateristics.
- General - The hotel enjoys a prime location for tourists with shopping and the underground. Although slightly dated, it is well maintained ac/jul00
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby links to a shopping complex and is cosntantly bustling with activity in the day. Adequate chairs fill the lobby without being too cluttered.
- Location - The Phoenix is ideally located in the centre of Orchard road-close to shopping and entertainment outlets. Also, the subway station (somerset) is just next to the hotel.
- Restaurant - The coffee house at the basement serves local and international cuisine.
- Rooms - They are medium-size and tastefully decorated in pastel orange and green colour themes. The rooms are all very well equipped with the necessary amenities. The bathrooms are also newly renovated with Italian wall tiles (peach and green colour) and marble vanity top and flooring.
