• Exterior - White modern building with 2 blocks forming an l-shape.
• General - Being part of an international chain, it is ideal for businessmen or corporate executives, looking for excellent quality/reputation. 07aug98
• Lobby - Large lobby looks extremely elegant with a colour theme of black, green and cream. Black chequered mirror walls and doors are all around the lobby which gives a very spacious feel.
• Location - Along scotts road, which is adjacent to orchard road, the major shopping and entertainment area. Also just 3 min walk to orchard station.
• Restaurant - Pete's place-italian, nutmegs-continental, ruyi-exquisite Chinese. Also scotts lounge, cafe, canopy bar and brannigan's.
• Rooms - Rooms are divided into 2 categories, deluxe and grand. Deluxe rooms are very large and in very good condition with dark carpets, butterscotch coloured wallpaper and white goose-down duvet. One unique feature is the enclosed alcove area with views of the pool, Garden or city. The grand rooms are also very large, in fact more like a junior suite, with a small lounge area that can be partioned off by a sliding door. They are furnished in cream-colour materials with contrasting black oriental tv and mini-bar cabinets. Both room types have excellent bathrooms with excellent standing showers.
