Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A modern 29-storey building which does not stand out very much among the many skyscrapers in this area.
- General - The harbour view is suitable for mid-level corporate executives or businessmen wishing to stay in the heart of Singapore's central business district. However, it is not suited for leisure groups or fits. 07aug98
- Lobby - The lobby is fairly big with a small landscaped pond with fishes adding life to the otherwise uninteresting lobby. The lobby is rather bare with only a few sofas at one end.
- Location - The harbour view dai-ichi hotel is located in the central business district area of Singapore where the majority of financial institutions and commercial companies are located. The location of the hotel is not ideal but there is a tube station within 5 mins walk and a bus stop opposite the hotel.
- Restaurant - The bright and casual coffee house offers local and continental favourites - it has large windows. There is a also a Japanese restaurant.
- Rooms - These are medium-size (narrow & long), furnished in light creme colours. The rooms are odd-shaped with a corner at the end with a window. Furniture is simple and rather aged. Bathrooms are small and in fair condition.
