Hotel Reports
Exterior - This is a traditional, lodge like hotel and it is long and thin with a large car park at the front. The hotel is literally on the edge of Loch Ness with only a small area of grass seperating them.
General - This is a great hotel mainly due to its location.
Lobby - The hotel lobby is medium in size and is very welcoming and cosy. There is a small seating area and a reception desk and the decor is very traditioanl.
Location - The hotel is situated in its own grounds on the shores of Loch Ness. It is actually 7 miles from Inverness, but is a good alternative because of its beautiful location. The surrounding views have to be seen to be believed.
Restaurant - The hotel dining room has a large seating capacity and provides a table d'hote menu and a cavery menu in high season. The room is very light and has splendid views of the loch, as it is located at the front of the hotel.
Rooms - The hotel has 32 bedrooms, all with private facilities, and most rooms have loch views and some have balconies. Facilities in the rooms include colour tv, tea/coffee making trays and telephones. The rooms are generally in good condition and are medium in size. Some rooms are a bit dated but overall, the standard is good.
